Staffing has partnered with a firm that is dedicated to serving and defending
its clients in a wide spectrum of matters. The Firm’s principal practice area
is the defense of complex toxic tort and mass tort claims with specialized
experience in cases dealing with the respiratory and central nervous systems.
We are in search of a litigation paralegal with trial experience, at least 5
years.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages Case Information: Control/Organize voluminous case
material for easy access. Organize Deposition Exhibits. Locating witness names
for depositions.
·
Provides Discovery Support: Prepare documents for production.
Review and track documents produced by opposing counsel and check for compliance
with document requests.
·
Provides Support for Trial Preparation: Prepare lists of
potential exhibits, witness, retrieve and assemble exhibits from case files.
·
Provides Post Trial Support: Arrange for return of original
documents.
·
Timekeeping: Completes and submits timesheets in a timely manner.
·
Other: Performs other paralegal or administrative duties as
assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS
·
BA/BS or Paralegal Certificate
·
5
years as litigation paralegal
·
Experience coordinating large complex cases using database
software
·
Excellent organizational skills
·
Working Knowledge of Word, Excel, WordPerfect
·
Knowledge of Pacer
·
Knowledge of Elite billing software, DOCS Open a plus
·
Stable employment history
·
Excellent professional references.
