
Accounting Clerk
Pacific Coast Staffing has partnered with an Emeryville commercial real estate company in the search for and Accounting Clerk. This position supports the accounting and operations teams by completing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Minimum Requirements
Must have Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
Commercial property management experience desired
Yardi, MRI, or CTI experience a plus
4 year degree
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Coordinate payments with vendors, review payment history, and account resolution.
Coordinate with Property Accountant to prioritize invoice payments
Assist with posting of cash receipts, expenses, or other transactions to journals or ledgers as needed
Sort and file documents
Perform calculations and analysis as needed
Stuff, apply postage, and mail envelopes with checks, invoices, or other documents
Set up new files as needed
Assist with month-

Special projects as requested

Accounting Manager, San Francisco, CA
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Oversee the company’s accounting, reporting, analysis, and budgeting processes. Oversee the financial performance of the company’s operations. Manage tax and finance structuring and compliance for existing operations and new business ventures. Assist senior management in optimizing the efficiency of the operations and in making strategic decisions. Design and implement the company’s financial policies/procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Oversee day to day financial operations.
• Perform accounting functions including: accounts payable, invoices/recharges, receivables, payroll, sales tax, general ledger, travel & entertainment, importing new transactions into the check registers, bank reconciliation, and month end close
• Monitor company cash flow.
• Improve, develop, and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Analyze and monitor departmental, division, and company cost and revenue budgets.
• Prepare, distribute, and review with management financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for all corporate entities.
• Review and coordinate with legal and business development due diligence process for any new business venture.
• Maintain employee benefits: Health & Dental Ins, Vision Ins, 401K, and PTO.
• Maintain various company insurance policies and corporate paperwork, including General Liability Insurance, Workers Comp policies, and corporate filings.
• Recommend optimal financial structure with regard to new business development.
• Prepare ad hoc projects and analyses for senior management.
• Prepare and file quarterly and yearly federal, state, and local taxes.
• Ensure all tax and government filings are complete and timely.
• Prepare and analyze company funding requirements and cash flow forecasting.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
• B.S. or B.A. in accounting or related field
• 2 – 4 years progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Quick Books & Excel
